We’re delighted that our new 150m2 assembly building is now complete, commissioned and now in use at Epsilon.
For some time, we have been short of space in our final assembly area and needed to expand and so we have designed and built a new energy efficient building to also allow for a “clean area” for FATs with customers prior to shipping of equipment. A £350,000 self-funded investment has allowed us to fit out a new building adjacent to the existing offices.
Using ASHP and energy efficient lighting combined with a top of the range specification for the insulated preconstructed panels helped us to gain an EP rating of A+.
The building is divided into a traditional small workshop and storage area, a white clean main assembly room along with and a smaller wet room for clean down and washing, since we are increasingly being asked to undertake feasibility trials and performance tests with placebo and non-potent actives. This area includes a waste-water collection system to allow us to deal with contaminated water in an environmentally controlled manner.
We look forward to welcoming you to the facility.
